Blue Max was one of only three pure bred stallions to be awarded Grade 1 Status at the 2007 Stallion Inspections. He is a quality purebred by Blue Henry who was regarded as one of the most influencial Irish Draught sires. Blue Max has an impressive nine and three-quarter inch bone, superb light and extravagant free flowing paces which he has inherited from both his sire and dam. Clannad Bess, his dam, has also produced prize-winning and champion stock from a number of sires and this combination is certainly destined to be a very successful one.

Blue Max has a lovely expressive head, full bold eyes and shows all the attributes of a quality Irish Draught. He has a very gentle nature about him. He was backed in 2007 and worked very well on the flat with three super paces and remarkable talent over jumps. He was then turned away to return to work later in 2008 to persue a dressage and jumping career.
